ARTICLE 19, along with partner civil society organisations, leading tech experts and browser market and search engine groups, have written an open letter to the European Commission on Google’s Non-compliance with the Digital Markets Act (DMA).

In order to restore fair competition and ensure consumer choice, Google must follow the provisions of the DMA.

We call on the Commission to urgently open investigation into Google and its practices. and apply the DMA in full. Not doing so undermines the integrity of the Regulation and leaves both EU businesses and ends users exposed.
